Every week, we’ll be bringing you Must Listen: a series that's a compilation of rising artists along with songs that must be added to your everyday playlist. This week’s playlist consists of emerging acts like Elujay, Araya, and Ivy Sole. Turn on, tune in, and zone out.

Elujay

Multi-talented alt-R&B singer/songwriter Elujay unveils his highly-anticipated debut full-length album Circmvnt. On his debut, we see Elujay tap into his Trinidadian roots as a source of inspiration while exploring and pushing new boundaries with his sound.

ARAYA

Brooklyn native Araya shares the final single, “Doctor,” from his forthcoming album Ethos due February 22nd. On this track, the all-around pop star glides with ethereal harmonies complimenting the warped beat and prominent guitar lines that flutter along the danceable pop melody. Taking elements from the past and future and transforming them into a unique blend of R&B, soul, hip-hop, pop, and electronic music truly proves Araya is a force to be reckoned with.

Anna Shoemaker

Indie-pop artist Anna Shoemaker shares her new single, “Change My Mind.” The track is a cathartic coming-of-age tale about growing up and learning to be easier on yourself. With the release of her debut album, Anna is breaking out of the bedroom pop world into a more mature and intentional sound, writing her feelings as if you've lived them alongside her.

Cassie Marin

Los Angeles-based vocalist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Cassie Marin is back with her new single, “Every Time I See The Ocean.” Infusing her harmonic electro-pop beats with ethereal R&B vocals, the track is a subdued yet captivating listen. Confronting the malaise of alienation, Cassie opens her heart to anyone who has ever felt misunderstood.

Ivy Sole

Philadelphia artist, Ivy Sole, returns with her third single “Call Me” from her highly anticipated forthcoming album CANDID. The track is a bouncy cut laced with vibrant hip-hop elements with sparse percussion and an effervescent bassline that provides an ideal canvas for Sole to display her impeccable flow and incisive poetic lyricism.

Porsh Bet$

Harlem native, Porsh Bet$, shares the title track "Things In The Way '' from his forthcoming sophomore EP due February 17th. The track is a hip-hop-inspired synth-pop experience that starkly captures the ups and downs of continuing a long-distance relationship. His wounded harmonies are supreme, cruising gently through longing and sheer charisma. Knowing what he’s missing out on only makes him more bitter, more determined to cross that boundary separating him from warmth and assurance.

Ivan Ave

Norwegian MC, Ivan Ave, returns with his latest “Gear.” The track seamlessly blends elements of neo-soul, R&B, and Hip-Hop to create this nostalgia-tinged 90s inspired record. The punchy funk-laced production allows room for Ivan’s smooth flow to flourish and thrive. We’re excited to see what’s next for him.

Chelsea Collins

Californian pop-prowess and self-taught producer Chelsea Collins returns with her heartbroken anthem “WISH U HELL,” an angst-ridden, atmospheric offering that sees Collins embarking into the realm of pop-rock with a sense of rebellion and her newfound IDGAF attitude.
