MUST LISTEN 111

Every week, we’ll be bringing you Must Listen: a series that's a compilation of rising artists along with songs that must be added to your everyday playlist. This week’s playlist consists of emerging acts like Théo Amo, SAIAH, and Sabrina Song.

The Pittsburgh-native is back with “5 minutes til dawn,” an upbeat track that takes storytelling to the next level. SAIAH continues to reimagine punk in their own style, making them one of the most refreshing and unconventional artists out at the moment.

Sleeping Jesus

Minnesota-based dream-pop band Sleeping Jesus made up of Nick Elstad, Tyler Steinley, Andy Bauer, Seamus St Clair, and Dante DeGrazia, release their latest track “Outside” from their forthcoming debut album, Leave The Party Early. Embedded with deep bass, and syncopated rhythm matched with a feel-good chorus, this track will have you hooked from start to finish.

Eighty Ninety — the indie-pop project of NYC-based brothers Abner (vocals, production) and Harper (guitar, production) James — return with their highly-anticipated EP, The Night Sky. The title track  “The Night Sky,” is a classic Eighty Ninety track, packed with glittery synth-pop production, ethereal vocals, and driving indie-pop instrumentation.

Théo Amo

L.A based-French-Malaysian producer releases his latest single, “sweaterback.” Filled with lush synth chords, hard-hitting drums, and some raspy vocals, it’s the perfect summer kickback song for those that want to spend it cruising down the highway or grabbing a drink poolside.

Brooklyn-based alt-pop singer-songwriter Sabrina Song shares her first single, "Doors" along with a captivating visual from her forthcoming EP due later this winter. The track finds the rising star reckoning with the desire to hold on to herself in the midst of an unhealthy relationship trying not to let one small action lead to its demise.

Rubi Rose

Almost a year after the viral snippet posted on her socials, Rubi Rose releases her highly anticipated previously untitled song, “Wifey.” The track samples N*E*R*D’s “Lapdance,” with Rose spitting her signature catchy bars and delivering a 2000s-inspired visual alongside to fully cement the nostalgic feel of this certified banger.

Sidders

North London rising singer-songwriter, Sidders releases his new single, “Home Alone” produced by fellow North Londoner, Mack Jamieson. A love song that encourages you to enjoy the smaller moments together, the track was written throughout the lockdown when Sidders had momentarily moved to Brighton and found himself isolated from life and friends back in London.

Hojean

Singer-songwriter REYSHA RAMI releases her debut single “Fallback.” This melody-laced breakup bop has a specific 2000s flair to it that makes it the perfect soundtrack for a romance gone wrong. The infectious hook, paired with the rising star’s powerful and smooth vocals, will leave you under REYSHA’s spell.
